✦ WHAT IS A GRIMOIRE? A grimoire is the primary source of magic for mages in our world. It only exists for cosmetic purposes on the forum. In topics, when you use your magic, the grimoire floats around you and remains open. It cannot be destroyed, used for offensive and/or defensive purposes, blinding an opponent, using it as a stepping stone, etc. You do not control the movement of your grimoire. It simply exists because it is a large part of the Black Clover world, however, we use also it as a bundle for our Grimoire Mods. ✦ WHAT ARE GRIMOIRE MODS? Grimoire Mods are modifiers that enhance the way your magic works on the forum. They come in various rarities and can be attached to your grimoire. Depending on the rarity of the Grimoire Mod, it may take up multiple slots in your grimoire. This ranges from simple modifiers such as extended range, faster spells, and decreased cooldowns to more unique modifiers. The number of Grimoire Mod slots that you have is based on the grade of your grimoire. ✦ WHAT DOES THE GRADE OF A GRIMOIRE MEAN? Everyone starts with a Bronze-Grade Grimoire. Grimoires are divided into grades: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Arcane. The grade of a grimoire stands for the number of Grimoire Mod slots that it has available: Bronze (1 Slot), Silver (2 Slots), Gold (4 Slots), Platinum (7 Slots), Diamond (10 Slots), and Arcane (15 Slots). ✦ HOW DO WE INCREASE THE GRADES? The grade of your grimoire is based on the roleplay activity of your character. The roleplay post requirements for the grades are as follows: Bronze (0 RP Posts), Silver (100 RP Posts), Gold (250 RP Posts), Gold (500 RP Posts), Platinum (1000 RP Posts), Diamond (2000 Posts), and Arcane (3000 Posts). The posts must meet the requirements set in the Roleplay Regulations. ✦ WHERE DO WE GET GRIMOIRE MODS? You can acquire Grimoire Mods by buying them in the shop. Some may have certain requirements before they can be purchased. Should you want to stack the same Grimoire Mod multiple times, which is possible unless stated otherwise in the Grimoire Mod, you must buy the specific Grimoire Mod multiple times. ✦ WHAT IF WE WANT TO SWITCH OUR BUILDs? That's absolutely possible. We all want to try something new from time to time. You can simply sell the Grimoire Mods that you no longer wish to use to open up your slots and purchase something else. |
